What exactly is a generation credit?
One credit equals one draft from the Generate panel — regardless of template or length. Chat refinement is free on Pro and Business, and lightly metered on Starter. Your sidebar always shows the exact balance remaining.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. One-off top-up credits are different: they never expire and are only consumed after your monthly allowance runs out.
How does the annual discount work?
Annual billing charges 10 months up front for 12 months of service — effectively two months free. You still receive your credit allowance monthly, and you can upgrade tiers mid-term with prorated pricing.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from the Billing panel at any time — no email, no call. Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades and cancellations take effect at your next renewal date, and you keep full access until then.
Who owns the content Verso generates?
You do. Drafts produced from your briefs are yours to edit, publish, and commercialize. We claim no ownership over your input or output — see the intellectual property section of our Terms.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your briefs and drafts are sent to our AI processing partners solely to produce your output, under agreements that prohibit training on your content. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Generation pauses — nothing is deleted and you are never silently charged. You can wait for the monthly reset, buy a one-off top-up from Billing, or upgrade to a larger plan on the spot.
Do you offer refunds?
If Verso isn't working out within your first 14 days on a paid plan, write to support and we'll refund the current period in full. After that, billing follows the schedule described in our Terms — but you can cancel future renewals at any time.
